Daydreaming
At school I always slow down and daydream. I don’t know why.

A lot of people have trouble keeping their minds on their work. Concentration must be practiced. In a way, it is similar to watching television. When you are concentrating on something, it’s as if you are watching a show. When you begin to daydream, it’s as if you’ve switched to a different channel. The key to fixing your problem is to realize when you’ve changed the channel. Then you can return to the original program as soon as possible.

Your teacher may be able to help by reminding you to “switch the channel” when you seem to be daydreaming. Your teacher and your parents may have other suggestions.

Best wishes,
